For the first six years of her life, Jane wasn’t shown any love. All she knew was trauma. All she heard was shouting.

Jane’s only happiness came from puzzles. She would play with them for hours – blocking out the noise and chaos around her.

After the violence suddenly escalated, Jane had to be removed from her home. In the rush for safety, she left all her puzzles behind. Thanks to our supporters, we placed Jane in a safe home – but she arrived with nothing.
